Here is a detailed breakdown of doing an oil change with a new filter on a tenth generation honda civic. This will work with the 1.5T and 2.0 engines.

Make sure to use 0W-20 oil and I would recommend full synthetic. The oil drain plug is 17mm and is torqued to 30 ft lb. or 40nm. The 1.5T uses 3.7 qts of oil while the 2.0 uses 4.4 qts of oil.
