A Women's Only Harley-Davidson Road Trip and Motorcycle Campout in West Virginia | Grits &

In the Summer of 2021, I jumped on a Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail courtesy of @EagleRider, and rode across the midwest for a women's only motorcycle campout in Seneca Rocks, West Virginia. This video shows what it's really like to hit the road for 5 days and 1,800 miles to ride motorcycles and have fun with your friends and fellow motovloggers like Jess (@Her Two Wheels) and Beth (@Biker Babe Beth) Here's a quick rundown of each day:

- Day One: Milwaukee to Dayton, Ohio - Our trip starts out at the Harley-Davidson Museum, where I meet up with my friend Nerissa on her FXLRS. From there, we hit up Leons for some Custard before making our way to Dayton Ohio for the night, where we end up in the middle of the Brood X Cicada swarm.

- Day Two: Dayton, Ohio to Seneca Rocks, West Virginia - We packed up the bikes in Dayton and headed to Athens Ohio to check out Jackie-O's Brewery for Lunch. In West Virginia, we hit some of the heaviest, gnarliest rain we had ever ridden for over 200 miles. We made it to the ladies' moto campout in Seneca Rocks just before dusk.

- Day Three: Seneca Rocks and Surrounding Areas - With the weather clearing up and showing sunny skies, we decided to enjoy a ride in the West Virginia Mountains, and headed to Blackwater Falls state park via route 33 and 32. In the afternoon, we hit the local swimming hole with everyone before riding to Gateway for Pie!

- Day Four: Seneca Rocks, West Virginia to Cincinnati, Ohio - After enjoying breakfast at Yokum's with everyone, Nerissa and I rode south the see the Nation's newest National Park: New River Gorge! We rode down the Fayette Station Road and enjoyed the views of the New River Gorge Bridge before heading to Charleston for lunch at Pies and Pints. Afterwards, we took the AA Highway through Kentucky and landed in Cincinnati for the night.

- Day Five: Cincinnati, Ohio to Milwaukee, Wisconsin - We checked out the Indianapolis Motor Speedway before riding our final miles back to Milwaukee. Just over 1,800 miles in a weekend!
